How to certify the language acquaintance?
State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language is responsible for issuing of the certificates authenticating the acquaintance of language in Poland. These certificates are the only respected documents authenticating the proficiency in Polish language.
Timetable, costs and levels of exams
All foreigners may proceed exams, there are no limits due to preparatory courses. Exams take place three times a year during the spring, summer and autumn.
Information about upcoming dates of exams will be announced soon.
Exams cover all levels:
B1 – Intermediate (to take the exam on this level, person must be over 16 years old)
B2 – Upper Intermediate (to take the exam on this level, person must be over 16 years old)
C2 – Proficient (to take the exam on this level, person must be over 18 years old)
It is necessary to apply a form and pay for the exam before taking it.
An email with the exact date and place of the exam will be sent in return.
The application form is available on the website www.certyfikatpolski.pl. The charges for the exam are:
• B1 – 60 EUR
• B2 – 80 EUR
If the exam is passed it is necessary to pay additional 20EUR for the certificate.
The results of exams are usually available after 6 weeks.
